Running in Vienne, Nature Run: IESA Team Spirit in Action
What if team spirit was also built outside the workplace?
On Sunday, October 11, 2026, several IESA Automation employees took part in the 10 km Nature Run at Courir à Vienne.
It was another opportunity for team members to spend time together outside the professional environment, around an activity that has an important place in life at IESA: sport.
Ten kilometers, trails, woodland and elevation changes were on the agenda… along with the shared motivation to take on a new challenge together.
A 10 km nature run around Vienne
Held in Vienne, Courir à Vienne offers several routes allowing participants to discover the city and its surroundings while running.
Several IESA employees chose the 10 km Nature Run, a course combining urban sections with natural areas around Vienne.
Harold, Jérôme, Kévin, Maud and Michaël shared this sporting experience together as members of the IESA Automation team.
The goal? Not necessarily performance or finishing times.
Taking part in an event like this is first and foremost an opportunity to meet in a different environment, share the effort and simply enjoy a great moment together.
Sport: an important part of life at IESA Automation
Taking part in this race fits naturally with IESA’s company culture.
Running, trail running and other sporting challenges regularly give employees an opportunity to come together around values that also resonate with their everyday professional lives.
Sport calls on many of the same qualities required when working on industrial projects:
- pushing your limits to keep progressing and take on new challenges;
- perseverance when things get tougher;
- mutual support to move forward together;
- commitment, both individual and collective;
- and, of course, team spirit.
These values take on a different dimension when, for one Sunday, industrial environments, automation systems and technical projects are replaced by a pair of running shoes.
Shared experiences that strengthen team spirit
Company life is about more than the projects teams work on together.
Moments shared outside the workplace also help strengthen relationships between colleagues.
An event such as Courir à Vienne provides an opportunity to spend time together differently: everyone runs at their own pace, takes on their own challenge and encourages their colleagues along the way.
And while everyone may cross the finish line with their own time, the experience itself remains a shared one.
This sense of togetherness is also what IESA aims to encourage through the sporting events its employees choose to take part in.
