IESA was involved in an industrial automation project at a tire manufacturing plant in the United States, with an approach focused on global Safety applied to all conveyor systems, both existing and new.

Secure all conveyor systems

The industrial site was operating several conveyor systems integrated into the tire manufacturing process.

The project objectives were to:

  • Implement a global Safety strategy covering all conveyor equipment
  • Secure operator interactions along the production lines
  • Support the start-up of a new conveyor system dedicated to feeding palletizing robots

This project required a cross-functional approach combining industrial automation, Safety, and industrial simulation.
