A demanding industrial environment requiring a secure restart

Dynamic Concept Europe operates in a highly demanding industrial production environment, where equipment availability and system reliability are critical. In this context, two industrial machines integrated into the production line required a rapid and secure recommissioning of their control systems following a shutdown that impacted the automation platform.

To ensure operations could resume under optimal conditions, Dynamic Concept Europe entrusted IESA with this mission, relying on its recognized expertise in industrial automation, industrial electrical engineering, and industrial simulation — particularly in complex automated environments.

Securing the restart and improving the reliability of the automation platform

The main challenge of the project was to secure the restart of the installations while sustainably improving the reliability of the existing automation platform. Several constraints had to be addressed:

• An automation platform requiring full recommissioning (PLCs and servers)
• Servers and Historian systems to be updated in order to ensure data continuity and traceability
• Automation programs requiring optimization to guarantee reliable and long-term operation of the equipment

As the intervention took place in an active production environment, it required a high level of rigor, responsiveness, and in-depth expertise in Schneider EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS — a strategic technology at the core of the installation.
