Home > New Industrial Automation Project for IESA in the Oil & Gas Sector: Heading to Papua New Guinea with SNF
As part of a new Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) project using Polymer Flooding, global polymer leader SNF has once again entrusted IESA with a comprehensive mission in industrial automation and industrial electrical engineering. The project is set to be deployed at the Walio site, in Papua New Guinea.
For this international project, IESA is in charge of the complete design of the automated system. The goal: deliver a fully integrated industrial solution, ready to ship and install in demanding on-site conditions.
Scope of the project entrusted to IESA
The completed unit will then be shipped to Papua New Guinea for installation at the operational site.
Polymer flooding consists of injecting water mixed with polymers to increase fluid viscosity and improve oil displacement efficiency. This process requires precise mixing, dosing, and control systems, managed by robust and reliable automation.
Thanks to its expertise in complex process automation, IESA supports its clients by providing high-performance industrial systems tailored to the challenges of the Oil & Gas industry.
For several years, IESA has been designing exportable industrial systems for international deployment. This new project with SNF is a perfect example of a turnkey solution, including:
IESA warmly thanks SNF for this new international collaboration, which strengthens the solid partnership between our companies. This project perfectly reflects IESA’s ability to support major players in the Oil & Gas sector with custom, export-ready industrial solutions.
