In August, one of IESA’s automation experts assisted a pneumatic factory in Italy with a major project. The goal was to increase production capacity and improve flexibility in the before curing workshop by installing two new transitics systems.
This project took place in a demanding industrial environment, where every scheduled shutdown is a key opportunity to optimize plant performance without having a lasting impact on production.
IESA's role: expertise in industrial automation and commissioning monitoring
On site, Michaël, an industrial automation expert at IESA, monitored the commissioning process.
His mission:
- Support the automation teams during the restart phase.
- Verify that the installations comply with specifications.
- Ensure compliance with customer standards.
This intervention was based on the testing phases carried out upstream with our 3D simulator, an essential tool for securing and anticipating commissioning.
An intervention during the factory's scheduled shutdown
Commissioning took place from August 13 to 17, during the factory’s scheduled shutdown period.
The restart was launched on August 18, allowing for a quick and safe resumption of production.
