AROUND THE WORLD: COMMISSIONING THE BRAKING SYSTEM FOR THE WORLD’S TALLEST PYLON ZIP LINE AT CHAMROUSSE!

Giant Zip Lines

When it comes to extreme sports and outdoor adventures, giant zip lines take pride of place. These impressive structures attract thrill-seekers from all over the world. Recently, our team of automation and electrical experts was tasked with a major challenge: commissioning the braking system for the largest pylon zip-line ever built. The project, located in Chamrousse, was carried out in collaboration with renowned manufacturer MND, and enjoyed the confidence of the Régie des Remontées Mécaniques de Chamrousse.

An innovative and challenging project

The Chamrousse pylon zip-line is an ambitious project that pushes the boundaries of engineering and innovation. As a company specializing in control and automation systems, we are delighted to have been chosen to take part in this challenging adventure. We would like to thank MND and the teams at the Régie des Remontées Mécaniques de Chamrousse for their confidence and availability throughout this project.

A technical challenge met

Commissioning the braking system of a giant zip line is a major technical challenge. Due to its size and unique design, this zip line presents specific requirements in terms of safety and performance. Our automation and electrical experts were able to adapt and meet these requirements, and have just returned from this project “in the air”!
